About Brazilian Vaccination There were several countries that had developed and produced COVID-19 vaccines. These countries include: the United States (Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson), the United Kingdom (AstraZeneca and Oxford University), Russia (Sputnik V), China (Sinopharm, Sinovac, and CanSino Biologics), and Germany (BioNTech, which developed the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine). India (Covishield and Covaxin), Brazil started to produce its COVID-19 vaccine, called Coronavac, in early 2021.
