All words in all languages have meanings.

In Portuguese and English: 

É interessante ver como cada geração encontra suas causas por que lutar, mas nesse caso específico pela luta por igualdade de gênero, como sou cabalista, filósofo, e teólogo, não posso modificar a linguagem por entender que muitas coisas estão em jogo aqui. Explico.

Todas as palavras em todos os idiomas possuem significados (ocultos ou explícitos) e todas estão interconectadas e suas interconexões também geram novos significados. Quando você propõe esse tipo de mudança na linguagem como o uso de “they, ellos, eles” em vez de “he, el, ele” (inglês, espanhol, português como exemplos), conhecimento e sabedoria podem ser perdidos, por isso penso que essa luta está equivocada. 

Quando dizemos “him” não significa “man”, significa “ser”, ambos sexos. “Ele” vem do hebraico e evoluiu para todos os demais idiomas, por exemplo “El = He” e “le = him” em castellano, se utiliza para referir ao homem, contudo também significa Deus, então quando dizemos “he, him” estamos fazendo referência a nós como a imagem de Deus, ambos sexos, porque a palavra Elohim “Deus em hebraico” significa ele + ela, Adão + Eva, não podendo ser considerado sexista e machista, porque estamos nos referindo a ambos sexos como divindades.

Quando afirmo que conhecimento e sabedoria se perdem quando modificamos os idiomas, me refiro a que tudo tem significado esotérico, teológico ou simplesmente histórico. As letras têm peso, elas têm valor, cada letra tem um número, por exemplo A = 1 (em hebraico א “Alef” = 1). 

Agora vejamos, O nome de Deus vale 26, porque seu nome se escreve “יהוה” e suas letras valem 5+6+5+10 = 26. Primeiro preciso que você entenda o conceito de unidade com Deus. Deus é o tudo e o nada, portanto a primeira letra do nome Dele, a letra Yud “י” vale 10, onde 1 significa o tudo e 0 significa o nada, mas 1+0 = 1, portanto Deus também pode ser enumerado com o 1, nós somos 1 com Deus. Se nós valemos 1 e deus 26, logo, a união de nós com Deus = 27. Então perceba que se você pegar o número 3, a unidade mínima necessária para criar o mundo tridimensional (o triângulo, 3 lados), e multiplicar por 3, você tem o 9 (9 está a 1 de Deus = 10, portanto o mundo com Deus é 9 + Deus = 10), e 9*3 = 27, que significa o 26 de Deus + 1 que é você, 27 é você com Deus.

Explico tudo isso para que você entenda a grandeza da linguagem, entenda que há muitas coisas além do superficial, e esse conhecimento está em risco quando modificamos os idiomas para que seja mais inclusivo.

So notice that if you take the number 3—the minimum unity necessary to create the three-dimensional world (the triangle, 3 sides)—and multiply it by 3, you get 9 (9 is 1 away from God = 10, so the world with God is 9 + God = 10), and 9*3 = 27, which means the 26 of God + 1 that is you; 27 is you with God.
